Georgie was born in Jeffries Corner on December 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Anderson) Lynch. Georgie worked as a bookkeeper with SMT for several years. She also helped out at the Sharing Club when she was able. She was a kind and loving person who would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Georgie enjoyed dancing, especially at Dooley's where she had many friends. She also loved to sit outside and take in all nature had to offer and she loved to watch gameshows on television. Family was first and foremost for Georgie and she loved attending music nights with her dad. She was a loving Mom, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend and will be truly missed. Georgie will live on in the hearts of her sons: Chris Greer of Oxford, NS and Tony and his wife Kim of Quispamsis; her daughter, Sam Cruickshank and Eddie Heath of Sussex; her stepchildren: Dale Greer and his wife Charlotte of Miramichi, Terry Greer of Saint John, Susan and her husband Ernie Doucette of Quispamsis, Bev and her husband Cedric Simpson of Hamilton, ON, Jane Gabriel of Saint John and Cheryl Greer of Mill Cove, her grandchildren: Philip and Kelsey Lynn Greer of Quispamsis and Jessy Allen of Sussex; her brother, Wallace Lynch and his wife Lillian of Bains Corner; her nephews: Corey Lynch and his wife Amy of Edmonton, AB and Shawn Lynch of Saint John; her niece, Crystal Pasch of Saint John as well as her beloved companion, Coco. Mrs. Georgie Florence Greer of Sussex, passed away at her residence on May 18, 2012 at the age of 70. Arrangements have entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday, May 21st from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A celebration of Georgie's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 11:00am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. Donations made to the Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
