Obituary of Margaret Perry

Mrs. Margaret Martha Perry was born in Riverglade on December 28, 1919, she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred Garland.

Margaret married Foster Perry July 8th, 1942 and were married for over 61 years until he passed away in 2004. Margaret worked along side Foster on the farm for over 50 years. She loved her vegetable garden, reading, crocheting, baking, cooking, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Margaret loved her family and once a year they had family get togethers until last year.

Margaret will live on in the hearts of her husband Foster Ivan Perry, two daughters: Mary Bell and her husband Harold of Sussex, Doris Melvin and her husband Spencer of Smith Creek; three sons: Vernon and his wife Jemma of Westfield, Gordon and his wife Linda of Saint John, Wayne and his wife Connie Kierstead Mt; 15 grandchildren: Heather Norden and her husband Jim, Kevin Bell and his wife Erica, Ruth Vail and her husband Robert, Beth Brittian, Earl Melvin, Stella Walker and Clay Phillips, Lisa Johnson and her husband David, Andrew Perry and Lisa Anderson, Delina Perry and Bale Belding, Charlene Tobin and her husband Terry, Peter Perry and his wife Rhonda, Dougie Perry and Krista Woodworth, Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Paul, Roger Perry, Marlene Perry and Randy Smith, Erica Perry and Chris Baxter; 24 great grandchildren: Amy, Nicole, Keifer, Kameron, Annika, Katelyn, Jonathan, Christopher, Kyle, Kelly, Jedediah, Kiannah, Briar, Jonah, Korrina, Jerrica, Ashley, Brett, Ben, Evan, Ryder, Logan, Jaiden and Haylee; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was predeceased by a son Ivan in 1966.

Mrs. Margaret Perry of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Center on August 30, 2009 at the age of 89.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation was held on Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm.

A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held from Wesley United Church on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Berwick Cemetery.
