Bill was born in Saint John on November 25, 1933, he was the son of the late Henry William and Clara (Nolan) Frits. Even as a boy, Bill was very determined. His first day of school he followed his mother home, because he did not want to go. Once he got there, he was a good student and was always wanting to learn more. At the age of 15, he moved to the Millstream where he began his farming career and worked hard at taking care of all his animals the best he could. Bill enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting with his brothers. He also enjoyed fishing and his dog and cats. He loved spending time with family, going for drives in his truck and having visitors.
