Obituary of Felix Francis Pelletier
Felix Francis Pelletier was born on November 12, 1926 in Grand Falls, NB and was the son of Denis and Louise Pelletier.
Felix moved to Saint John in 1948 and started work with the City of Saint John in 1949. He retired from there thirty years ago at the age of 55 and started a new phase of his life with Solange.
Felix built a camper for his truck and he and Solange did a lot of travelling throughout New Brunswick and Quebec. Many wonderful memories were made during these trips. Felix was a family man and if he wasn't travelling he preferred to stay at home. He liked to work with his hands, whether it was electrical work or working on cars. He enjoyed listening to country music and especially Jim Reeves.
Life was very good when Felix was able to listen to his music, smoke a cigar and have a glass of red wine.
Felix was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He will be truly missed.
Felix will be lovingly remembered by his wife Solange (Michaud); his two daughters: Odette Hall of Saint John and Patricia Caissie and her husband Mitch of Sussex; his son Ivon Pelletier and his wife Celia of Fredericton; grandchildren: Michelle (John), Lee Anne, James, Christina, Scott, Steven (Marie) and Stacie (Halton); great grandsons Cody and Matthew; brother Pete of Trois Riviere; his sister Angela Dube of Caribou as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Felix F. Pelletier of Sussex Corner passed away on May 1, 2012 at the Sussex Health Center at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his brothers: Dallard, Matthew, Herman and Osime and by sisters Beatrice, Yvonne, Bertha, Mammie, Rita, Jeanette, Claire and Leonide.
