Obituary of Anthony Decker
Mr. Anthony "Tony" Decker was orn in Corner Brook on September 13, 1969, he was the son of the late James Garfield Decker and Jospehine Alexander Pine.
Tony is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Decker, his daughter Amber and her boyfriend Matt Gray; his son Wendel at home; his stepson Jordan Medeiros and Amanda Gilpin of Brampton; his granddaughter Jaliya Medeiros; his brother, Ryan of Brampton, two sisters: Lori-Ann Decker and Andre Malenfant of Dieppe, Erin Decker-Bogoev and her husband John of Brampton; his father, James Decker and his wife Lyndsay of Brampton, Ontario, his mother, Josephine Pine and her husband Harry of Sussex; three nieces: Ryelle, Terri-lynn and Toni-Ann.
Tony has been a trucker for several years, trucking for Western Logistics, Chapman's Ice Cream, David Brown in New Minus, NS, Hudson Bay Company and lately for Bill Wells hauling water for Seaboard. Tony loved to laugh, sing while cooking, spending time with his kids, telling jokes, bicycling and four wheeling. He loved his music including: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin,Eminem, The Rolling Stones and Stomping Tom and his favorite expressions were "Talk about Canadian eh!" and "Hey Dude lets get Deckered!"
Mr. Anthony "Tony" Decker of Sussex, passed away at the 615 Main St on July 01, 2009 at the age of 39.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Saturday 1-2 family 2-4 7-9 pm.
A Celebration of Anthony "Tony" 's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Sunday, July 05, 2009 at 1:30 pm. The interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
