Obituary of Pierre Gilles Aubin
It is with heavy hearts the family of Pierre (Pete) Gilles Aubin announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Monday, December 14, 2020 at home, in the arms of his wife, Angela. Born on November 20, 1986, Pete was the youngest son of Gilles and Anne Marie (Caron) Aubin of Hunter's Home.
Pete graduated from Chipman High School and immediately went to work doing what he loved, truck driving. He drove locally and long haul, but the trucking of which he was most proud was ice road trucking. He spent many harsh winters hauling over Canada's most northern road systems. An avid Boston Bruins fan, he took great pleasure in giving Angela a Boston cream doughnut every time Boston beat the Leafs!! His beautiful, easy smile and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pete is survived by his beloved wife, Angela (Carleton); his cherished children, Genevieve and Benjamin; his parents, Gilles and Anne Marie; brother Jude (Paula McShane) and niece Lexy; Angela's parents, Brian and Julie Carleton; sister-in-law Jennifer (Craig) Josselyn and nieces Aria and Macy; brother-in-law Dan Carleton (Sam Kinney and Abby); numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie, in infancy.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 12-3pm. A Celebration of Pete’s Life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00am. Due to Covid-19 and limited seating, the funeral will be by invitation only.
