Scott was one of the few individuals that would take the time to listen and help to work together for the betterment of our projects. Whether at the CFD or with Cenovus, he had a special way of working together. Condolences to the family.

Tanya and Family,
I worked with Scott for many years at fire training where we accomplished a lot, changed a lot, and always laughed a lot. Scott was a true friend and he will be missed. In our thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Scott. I worked with Scott at the Fire Training Academy in Calgary. He always had a big smile and a helping hand. His optimism and motivation was inspirational. I will always remember as a colleague and friend.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Scott's passing, much too young..
I worked with Scott at Fire over several years and we attended many meetings together.
Scott always had a big smile and a laugh! He was great to work with and full of knowledge.
May the days ahead bring healing to Scott's family and may the Angels embrace him with open arms!
So sorry for your loss.
Warm regards,
Barb Jensen

I’m not sure our first post went through.
Jen and I are sorry for your loss. Scott was a great leader and I had the honour of working with him at CFD. He had a dynamic personality and a great sense of humour that he shared with the world.
Scott was “all in” on everything, whether it was a program, project or person.
He will be missed by many.
Jennifer and Bruce Burrell

Tonya & family - my deepest condolences to you all. Scott was a wonderful friend and trusted colleague. I will never forget our time working together in Cenovus HR. Scott was my confidante and buddy - he always made me laugh with his signature phrase... “right?!” He never took work too seriously, but at the same time we got lots of great work done. Scott always made sure he looked after his team as people - not just workers - and he connected their work to the business needs and solving problems. He made a difference, and I will miss him.
