Obituary of Ruth Marion Powell

Ruth Marion Powell (Richardson) age 87 of Sussex, N.B passed away March 13, 2021 at the Sussex Health Center. 

Born in Waterford NB on December 5, 1933; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Robinson) Richardson.

In her teen years, Ruth moved to Sussex where she met and married her now late husband Allan Powell. She retired from the Dept. of Agriculture in Sussex, after many years of service. She enjoyed getting together with her Bible study group, as well as being out in nature picking berries and flowers.

She is survived byher son David (Ann) of St. Thomas Ont.; her daughters: Donna (David) of Bedford NS and Susan (David) of Dartmouth NS. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Earl Richardson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, (506-433-1176).
