Condolences, especially to Douglas and Mary, and Hod. There are many fond memories of times with the Evans Steeves family on Midland Road - I am the eldest daughter, Idella. My Mom, Dorothy, also reached 100 years. Mom and Dad had a special appreciation for John and Kay. The 3 of us had a very special visit with them in Sussex a few years back. Kay certainly was the example of how we should live our lives with God's help. Oh, the blessing of knowing we will meet again in a better place and forever!

My sympathy is extended to Doug and Mary and all the many descendants which we have known personally for many years.
Kay was a special friend for a long time. On the first visit, we were guests on the farm in Elgin. Bernard and Fred were there as well. Our chats with Kaye were halted the last while only due to current restrictions.
She was a burning and a shining light, and well be greatly missed.
