Our condolences to Doug's family. Doug was a long time neighbour of our mother, Jean Holder, in Lower Millstream. I had some great "back yard" discussion with Doug , especially after her passing and as we prepared her house for sale. The houses were close, and I am sure everyone at the "corner" could hear the trucks starting or backing up, sometimes early in the morning or late at night. While some might say truck noise is disturbing, I always took comfort in the truck sound as it meant Doug and the boys had some work to do, or were home safe. Again, my condolences. Garth Holder

Alaine Angie Kevin and Kendrick so sorry to hear of your dad passing...we have been family for a very long time... all the camping weekends...with your mom and dad.. one memory is I remember we were at the Mic Mac camp ground and Liz needed something from the store and Doug whips out his wallet and he had 5- $100.00 bills...and me thinking he was rich, he even let me touch one...and him laughing..
