What can I say about Aunt Betty? She was the epitome of a matriarch. She made sure her family's needs were met and was always overseeing and organizing to ensure no-one was wanting. Her family was her life. I need to say that again: her family was her life. She was an aunt who always reached out despite the many kms between us, was a woman you could go without seeing for years and then feel like you lived with after seeing her again. That cottage won't be the same without her but we'll all honour her by sitting in those colorful chairs as much as we can. She is loved and will be in our hearts.

On behalf of the Sussex Corner Elementary School, I send our deepest sympathy to Kenny, Tammy and family. Betty and Kenny served breakfast to many children daily at the school before COVID. They were so kind and gentle and caring to each child, and adult. I looked forward to their visits and laughter.
