To Irene, David, Andre, Sandra (and families), we were very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Bernard. I remember visiting in Sussex and how happy he was to show us his home and community. When he planned trips to come to visit NL it was always looked forward to. Nan Fitzpatrick would talk about Bernard coming home for weeks in advance. Take comfort in your beautiful memories. You are in our thoughts.

Aunt Irene, Sandra, Andre, David, and families, so saddened to hear of Uncle Bernard's passing. We have such fond memories of his visits to Newfoundland and of our summer visits to Sussex as children. I'll always remember how he loved to joke and laugh with us. We will miss him dearly. Kathleen: I tried to remove my post but cannot. So sorry for your loss. Very sorry that I confused Bernard with Fred. After someone pointed this out to me, I don't remember ever meeting Bernard. It was Fred who visited us several years ago when he was home for a visit. Sincere sympathy to all your family on the loss of your brother Bernard. Linda Fitzpatrick

Aunt Irene and family - we were so sad to hear of Uncle Bernard’s passing. Though we haven’t seen him in many years, Mom would tell us that he was always eager to know how all the family here in Newfoundland were doing. He will be missed by many. “Ceux que nous aimons ne meurent jamais; ils demeurent avec nous à jamais, empreints dans nos souvenirs précieux.” Janet, Dave and family. (Fewer-Gillis)

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Fitzs passing, he was a great neighbour and friend to our family on McLean Street over the years, he took great pride in his gardens, he and Irene looked
after my Mother like she was their own Mother. I am sure Mom is happy to see Fitz in heaven with her and will have a great chat and some laughs. May he Rest In Peace. My sympathies go out to Irene, Sandra, Andre and David.
