Obituary of Matthew Christopher Boyd

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Matthew Christopher Boyd of Sussex Corner.

He was born in Sussex, NB on June 27, 1982. Matthew had a big heart, forgave quickly and always saw the best in people.

Matthew is survived and sadly missed by his mother, Sandra Beck (Darren Holst) of Picadilly; his father Mike Boyd (Cecily Roach) of Salmon Creek; his sisters, Billie Jo McKiel and Jessica Isbill; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and his cat Echo.

Matthew was predeceased by his grandparents: Ernest Beck, Donna Beck, Merton Boyd and Bertie Boyd.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the RCMP (Cst. Troy Keirstead and Cst. Jonathan Murphy) for their professionalism and compassion. The family would also like to thank Debbie Moss and Patty White for all their help and support.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). As per the family’s request, all services will be held privately.

If desired, donations may be made to the SPCA, Stray Cats of Sussex or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
