Obituary of Cesar Araneda

Mr. Cesar Eugenio Araneda was born in Santiago, Chile on March 6, 1963 to Mario and Irene Louisa Araneda. He immigrated to Canada as a young boy with his family. Cesar studied at the University of Saskatchewan, where he received his Bachelor of Arts. Later, he went on to earn his Microsoft Certified System Engineer Certification. Cesar was well known for his sense humor; he was quick witted and loved to laugh. He had a great passion for adventure and loved to travel, but above all else he put his five children. His family was very important to him and his children always came first. In 2008, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He fought with great strength and dignity and never gave up fighting until the end. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. Cesar will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Laura (Fournier); his children: Alexander, Katarina, Luisa and Evelyn all of home and Victoria Anne Araneda-Scudder of Regina; his sisters: Valentina and her husband Jason of Vancouver and Xemena and her husband Derek of Regina; his nieces: Vivianna, Trianna and Daniella and his nephew, Luca. Mr. Cesar Eugenio Araneda of Sussex Corner, passed away at the at his residence on April 17, 2012 at the age of 49. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A celebration of Cesar's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Wards Creek Cemetery.
