Obituary of Angela Joy Moore

It is with sadness that the family of Angela Joy Moore, age 69, announces her death which occurred on Sunday, July 25, 2021at Kiwanis Nursing Home.  She was born on February 2, 1952, in Sussex, NB, a daughter of the late Herbert and Lella (Smith) Parlee.

Angela attended School at Sussex Corner, Sussex High School, College NBCC. Mother of 3 beautiful children, foster parent to many children. She was a loving caring homemaker with a big heart with many talents, 3rd generation seamstress, accounting course. She had many interests and hobbies knitting, crocheting, gardening, baking, tole painting, walking on the beach looking for special rocks to tole paint. In later life, Angela and her sisters would relive their childhood by having a yearly PJ party which included pillow fights. Angela's final journey was spent with her Kiwanis Nursing Home Family. Everyone who works there truly make you feel that you are family. On behave of Angela's family you are all truly ANGELS. THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US.

She is survived by her companion Bruce McQuire; children Andrea Hay (Jody Billings), Troy Norrad, Sylvia Norrad; sisters: Janice Morrison (Harvey Akerley), Joanne Parlee (Dana Lynch); sister-in-law Connie Parlee; several nieces, nephews and aunts.  Besides her parents, she is also predeceased by her brother Wayne Donald Parlee and Andrea’s father George Hay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 5 to 7pm.  Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:00am.
