Obituary of Cassie Cummings

It is with sadness the family would like to announce the passing of Margaret Catherine “Cassie” Cummings, 80, who died at the Sussex Health Center on August 25, 2021. Born in Plumweseep, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Ethel (Wheaton) Cummings.

Cassie will continue to be in hearts of her brothers-in-law: Russell Tabor and Warren Tabor of Hillsdale; her sister-in-law, Freda of BC; her nieces and nephews: Junior Tabor (Lisa), Patricia McLean (Wellington), Bernie Tabor (Sandra), Bryant Tabor (Bonnie), Janet Gregg and Ed Tabor; her special great nieces to whom she was like a grandmother: Ashlee Gregg and Jenna Gregg (Josh); her great nieces and nephews: Miranda McShane (Travis), Tyler McLean (Kaylee), Katelyn Horton (Leon), Michelle Biddington (Stephen), Michael Tabor (Brittany), Samantha Tabor (Adam), Trevor Tabor (Kira).

She was predeceased by her brothers: Joe, Fred, John and Ernest; her sisters: Isabelle Tabor and Mary Tabor; her infant sister, Annie and her nephew-in-law, William Gregg.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00am. A celebration of Cassie’s life will be immediately following. The interment will take place at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Newtown, NB.
