Obituary of Leona Mabel Reid

Mrs. Leona Mabel (Main) Reid was born in Dawsonville on April 16, 1927; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Fraser) Main.

She will live on in the hearts of her children:  Rita Moran of Campbellton, Sheila Main of Ontario, James Archibald of Moncton, Luma Bellefleure and her husband Jacques of Edmundston, Cheryl Yaki of Calgary, Nelda Moran of Campbellton, William of Atholville, Michael of Ontario and Ober Reid and his wife Danielle of Mt Middleton; her brother, Harry of Ontario; her sisters: Bertha Kingston of Ontario and Julia Main of Campbellton; as well as several grandchildren and extended family members.

Mrs. Leona Mabel (Main) Reid of Campbellton, formerly of Sussex passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 2, 2021 at the age of 94.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Vaughan; her son, Gene and her daughters: Cindy Reid and Marlene Martin and by her siblings: Emerson, Charles, Connie and Ida.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), from where visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11-1:30pm. A Celebration of Leona’s Life will take place at 2:00pm. Due to the recent COVID-19 regulations, Proof of NB Identification and Vaccination must be provided for entry and masks are mandatory.
