Shirley, Jeff, Julie & families & the McLeod Family: we were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Dick was a person with a quick smile that everyone liked, a hard worker, honest, loyal, loved to tease and a true gentlemen. He supported the SNB Wood Co-operative & the SNB Forest Products Marketing Board, and the NB Federation of Woodlot Owners for as long as anyone knew him. One of his greatest passions was his woodlot that he loved dearly. Being able to pass the woodlot down to future generations meant the world to him and he was so proud to do so, especially when working with Jeff & Julie on the woodlot. He knew that being informed and being involved were two great assets when trying to be sustainable and profitable. His love for the outdoors, working on machinery, and his love for his family was very evident by anyone who had met him. He will be sadly missed by all and especially by us here at the Wood Co-op, a genuine man gone way to soon. Our deepest sympathy for your great loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. RIP Dick, until we meet again.

I can not tell you how shocked and saddened we were about Mr. McLeod. I can honestly say he was Chris and my welcome to Penobsquis. We walked his model wood forest with the dogs everyday and would meet up and talk. He is such a special part of young lives. My heart goes out to you.

We were very saddened to learn of Dick's passing.
For several summers Dick spent time clearing land on our farm. He was one of the best at what he did.
Also, a great person to talk with about days gone by in Penobsquis.
Ryan enjoyed talking with Dick about antique tractors and machinery.
