Obituary of Margaret Louise MacIntyre

The death of Margaret Louise MacIntyre of Penobsquis NB, wife of the late John William “Bill” MacIntyre, occurred peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 28, 2021 after a brief illness. Margaret was born in Sydney, NS on November 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Hugh and Agatha (Parker) MacAdam.

She is survived by her son Bill (Cathy) MacIntyre of Riverview; daughters: Donna (Joe) Monahan of Sussex, Patricia (Jim) Ackerman of Sussex, Bonny (Alan) Hill of Sussex, Cathy MacIntyre (Ulric Fournier) of Sussex; grandchildren: Michelle (Mike) Wright, Molly (Marcus) Aiton, and John Monahan; Kelly and Aimee Hill; Nikki and Liam Ackerman; Jake MacIntyre and Joey Fournier; and Riley MacIntyre; grandson -in-law Chris Graham; great-grandchildren: Max, Lucy, James Jonah; sister Terri Lalonde and brother-in-law Cam MacEachern.  Margaret is predeceased by her parents and husband, as well as her grandson James Monahan; granddaughter Colleen Graham; brother George; sisters: Frances, Connie, Eileen, Nora and Agnes.

The family will receive visitors at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176 on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:00am from St. Francis Xavier Church. Due to the recent COVID-19 regulations, proof of NB identification and vaccination must be provided for visitation and Mass of Burial.  Masks are also mandatory.
