So saddened to read of the passing of a true and gentle lady. Carole was introduced to me from one of her Ontario friends in the Bichon world. She was widely known and respected. For me and my Lola she became a friend. On one of my grooming days in Sussex, my Lola ate a CHRISTMAS ORANGE BALL. The vet in Sussex was getting very concerned about her possible survival so Carole took her to her grooming space where she was familiar and LOVED. with Carole‘s encouragement, Lola pulled through. When Carole needed a few Bichons to be in a movie, she added Lola to the group. Handling 8 Bichons for a quick scene was quite a chore, but Carole pulled it off. Devoted, hard working, a beautiful smile - that is you Carole. I know every dog that you groomed was in the welcoming group with all who loved you when it was your time to cross over. RIP and sincere condolences to her family.

Reading of Carole's passing brings back many memories for me. She groomed both my Yorkies. The first one passed at home and the second one, at the age of 18. The morning I made that dreaded appointment I called Carole after hoping she was working that day but she wasn't. She asked me if I would like her to go with me and I immediately said yes. It brings tears to my eyes as I can still picture the two of us hugging Toto until he passed and me bawling as we headed to my car without him. Although I lost contact with Carole over the years and I am not even sure she remembered me if I did see her, I wish now that I had told her I still have Toto in an urn with a little ceramic Yorkie laying in a padded wicker basket sitting on top of the urn. So, Carole, "go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done . . . ". Sincerest condolences to Carole's family and friends.
