To the McFarlane Family, Please accept my sincere sympathy. Beth was a dear friend to my mother Dot as part of the “Club Girls”, bridge player and Pleasant Lake group. She was also a great nurse to my Grandmother Carr at the Kiwanis nursing home many years. She was so kind and gentle and full of fun with a great sense humour. She will be missed. Your loss is great. Your mom and mine( Eleanor Ness ) belonged to “ Club” who of course were “the Club girls “
They were a wonderful group of women who journeyed with one another over 70 years. They shared their lives with one another and a very enduring friendship. They were our guiding lights.
I remember so well your Mom being dropped off at our home by a care giver when her memory was beginning to fail. They would share a visit and were so very comfortable with one another. Treasure your memories!

Beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. We enjoyed the video and so many memories of the family gatherings, Pleasant lake visits which the Bell family were included. Thank you for using Beth’s RVH graduation picture for her obituary; Beth attended many of our Chapter get-together and her smile and her “training” memories were very endearing to all of us. Beth and I took the Nursing Refresher course at the same time and travelled together to SJRH for the sessions that took place there. I so enjoyed her company; she was a sweet lady and a good nurse. I feel her loss with you.

I am so very sorry for you loss. Granny was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met. I will always remember her amazing mac and cheese, with the secret ingredient that she refused to give me :) How she introduced me to dulse and peanuts, and always made sure she was stocked up for me when we came to visit! She had the warmest smile and the best hugs. I feel really lucky to have met her. My sympathies to you and your family.

So very sorry to hear about the death of Mrs McFarlane "BETH" I will never forget her, she will always hold a special place in my heart. It was an honor and a privilege to have had her as my client where she become a very special friend in my life. Her smile would light up the room. I enjoyed listening to her read the paper to me and tell me stories of her life. Mrs McFarlane was especially proud of being selected as a young girl to present the Queen a bouquet of flowers on behalf of I believe it was her Brownie group. It was published in the paper and she proudly read the clipping to me on several occasions. I would even have a front row seat as she played her piano and sang her favorite hymns. I loved to dance around the room with her as she played her favorite albums that brought her so much joy. Mrs McFarlane had so many talents -from baking, to making yummy jams or jellies, to creating cross stitch projects ,to bird watching to playing bridge .. one sweet little lady that will be missed by all. My sincere condolences to her whole family
