Walter McKay was born to John Henry McKay and "Louise" Margaret Forgraves McKay in Wards Creek on October 15, 1938. Walter is survived by two sisters: Alice Mallory and her husband Alvin of Dutch Valley, Udeavillia Throop and husband Ken of Welsford; nine brothers: Danny and his wife Leona of New line Rd, Eldon and his wife Elizabeth of Coles Island, Charlie and his companion Diane of Wards Creek, Melbourne and his wife June of Hampton, Milton of Norton, Colby and his wife Gail of Norton, Sydney and his wife Dianne of Wards Creek, Elmer and his wife Dianne of Penobsquis, Angus of Wards Creek; Walter was predeceased by his sister Madeline who passed away in 1981 and by his niece Jerusha in 1998. Walter John McKay of Topaz Special Care Home, Norton passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 12, 2009 at the age of 70.
