Deeply sorry Mary Anne, Troy & Joel for the loss of your husband and father. Also sorry to you Murray, Doreen, Kenny, Anne & Brenda in losing your brother. To all other relatives and friends:
Johnny was a year younger than myself and also part of the Fowler Avenue gang. Before you headed around the turn just before the farm, there was a chained up wooden sign you drove under. It read THE PONDEROSA. Once walking under the sign the magic began! Everyone had fun and we all got along - even Johnny. hehe We were treated so well by Archie and Jean as it was ALL OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME We grew up there too! It was the best of times for all of us as it felt we were living "Little House On The Prairie" on Fowler Avenue AND WE DID!
Johnny followed in his Dad's footsteps and now Mary Anne, you, Troy and Joel shared his passion also.

Words cannot express the sadness that everyone who knew John and knows the McGibbon family is feeling I am sure. John was a friendly, kind, hard-working man all his life. As you know, brother Howard and I spent a fair amount of time at the farm in our young years, especially Howard and I have photos of Howard and John just hanging out when they were youngsters. I have many fond memories of the McGibbon farm and I am certain others cherish memories of John and the McGibbon brothers and sisters. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
