Obituary of Kenny Campbell

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Robert Campbell was born in Petitcodiac on August 19, 1945; he was the son of the late Emery and Leta (Campbell) McPhee.

Kenny was an always hardworking, kindhearted and good-natured man. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was a member of the Greater Fundy Ground Search and Rescue for 26 years, the Homesteaders Association for 14 years and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #20.  He was never idle and stayed busy not only doing work for himself and his community but any person around him in need. He was a give the shirt off his back kind of man and never wanted to see anyone else struggle.

He had a deep passion for music and greatly enjoyed sharing his talents with his friends, family, and community.

Kenny had a quick wit, a contagious grin and a teasing nature like no other. He loved to make people laugh and cared genuinely for others. To know him and be part of his life was to be truly blessed. He will be dearly missed.

He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife of 51 years, Joan (Lewis); his son, Martin Campbell (Pam Swim) of Penobsquis; his aunts: Elva Greer, Phyllis Jones, Mildred Folkins (Bill) and Mary McPhee; his uncle, Randy McPhee (Madeline); his brother-in-law, Harold Lewis (Debbie); his sisters-in-law: Ruth Fitzgerald (Tony), Bev Lewis (Phyllis Hamilton), Ann Bunnell and Doris Fraser; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kenneth Robert Campbell of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Center on February 11, 2022 at the age of 76.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
