Winston was such a kind man who treated all of the Gummow students like his own grandchildren. More than once he helped my children retrieve forgotten items. His kindness will be remembered.

Kim, Rob and family - condolences on the passing of Winston. I had only met Winston a few times but it was obvious he was a kind man and a bit of a character. Hugs and lots of love being sent your way. Moe

Hi Kim, and family, my condolences to you as I'm going to miss him for his friendships and his support. He sure like his fish and chips dinners after work at the cat and fiddle restaurant. He sure like the chance if he needed a drive or a favour somewhere, he calls and I help him out. Now I can remember and miss his friendships. He was a great friend/ coworker!

I had the pleasure of knowing Winston when he worked at C R Gummow. My children went there and I was on parent council for 12 years. I too worked for the board but not at his school. He was the kindest man and loved to talk about going to visit his children and grand children. He would absolutely light up as he talked about them. My thoughts will be with you all. He will be so greatly missed.

Knew Winston due to visits to CR Gummow PS Cobourg as rep from CDCI East. Such a kind friendly man! Also took on hard to place secondary Co-Op students! Oh what patience! Such a loss!!

Please accept my sincere condolences on Winston's passing. I had the very good fortune to work with him at C. R. Gummow PS for many years. His warm smile and friendly face were a welcome sight every day at school. You would be hard pressed to find somebody as kind and friendly as he was. Winston will be greatly missed.
