The death of Dorothy Rowena Seeley of Sussex occurred on December 2, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Dorothy was born at Sussex a daughter of the late Russell S. and Estella E. (Payne) Teakles. She is survived by daughters Brenda Sponagle and husband Glen of Millbrook and Debbie Henderson and husband Tim of Sussex Corner, sons Nevin Seeley and wife Margo of Saint John and Rick Seeley and wife Pat of Picadilly, ten grandchildren, Jayne, Jacqueline and James Seeley, McGregor Seeley, Devon, Kelsey and Mia Henderson, Brian, Laura and Brandon Sponagle, two great grandchildren Seth and Krynn, a sister Leona MacDonald and husband George of Sussex and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter Seeley who passed away in 2000 and her brother Russell J. Teakles. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held Sunday December 5, 2004 at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex at 2:00 PM. Reverend David Barrett officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Sussex Health Centre Dialysis Unit, Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
