Mary Lois Shea, wife of the late Albert Shea, 92, of Springdale, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on July 26, 2012. Born in Penobsquis, she was the daughter of the late Welton and Birdie( nee Smith) Goddard. She is survived by her daughter, Joann Liddle (Jack) of Penobsquis; grandchildren: Mary MacKay, Johnny Liddle and Susan Clement; great-grandchildren: Charlene Belding, Cody Jones, Chelsie Liddle, Corey Liddle, Courtney Clement, Matthew Clement and Jarret Gailey; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Goddard (Sheila) of Saint John; sisters: Beulah Forsythe (Allison) of Sussex and Vivian Williamson of N.S.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by sisters: Laura Bradley, Margaret Dunfield and Jean Buchanan; and brother, Charlie Goddard. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00am with Father Arnie Hachey presiding at the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church.
