The death of Vera Marie Chestnut of Cumberland Road occurred on May 4, 2005. Born at Tamworth, ON a daughter of the late Benson and Ruth (Summers) Bristol. She is survived by her husband Norman Chestnut, daughter Jeanette Mason (Troy) of New Line and son David (Amanda) Chestnut of Oakville, ON, grandchildren Madeleine and Zachary, step grandchildren Michael and Chelsea Mason, sisters Shirley Sipos of Kingston, ON, Joan Lyons (Don) of Kingston, ON and Beverly Bernard (Ian) of Kenora, ON and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday May 7, 2005 at 2:30 PM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Roachville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the IWK Children's Hospital, the Children's Wish Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
