Joyce Isabel Pollock (nee Davidson), 93, of Cassidy Lake, passed away at her home on December 9, 2016. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (nee Marshall) Davidson. Joyce was an affiliate of the Southfield United Church. She will be greatly missed by her children: Gladys Keith (Harold) of Norton, Hazel Douthwright (Andrew) of Penobsquis, and Ernest Pollock (Shirley) of Picadilly; her sister Joan Otis (the late Aubrey) of Norton; her grandchildren: Dawn Constantine (Charles), Janice Pollock (Mark McGloin), Corey Keith (Sheila), Darrell Keith (Rebecca), Joe Douthwright (Jenn), and Gordie Douthwright (Amanda); her great-granddaughters: Jenna, Shanell, Lily, Maezie, Isabella, & Hannah; grandsons: Devin, Shannon, Luke, & Cohen; her aunt Pauline Marshall of Brockville, ON; as well as by many other extended family members and friends. Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Pollock on April 21, 1999. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133), from where visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11th, 2016 from1-3pm. A private graveside service will be held as per Joyce’s request. Interment will be held in the Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
