The death of John Armstrong Dunn occurred at his residence Mount Pisgah, NB on December 3, 2007. John was born at Dunns Corner, NB in 1917, a son of the late Alwood and Margaret (Armstrong) Dunn. John was the husband of the late Ruth Dunn, father of the late Douglas Dunn and great grandfather of the late J.J. McFarlane. He is survived by his grandchildren Vanessa Dunn (Scott McFarlane), Philip Dunn and his wife Kim and Matthew Dunn (Sarah), great grandchildren Tyler McFarlane and Julie Dunn, his sisters Evaline Prosser of Sussex and Jennette Dykeman (Ronald) of Minto, other grandchildren Peggy Doody (Fred), Kathy Honeycutt (Frank), Karen Wilmot, Sylinda and Alicia Wilmot and daughter in law Debbie Wilmot. John was predeceased by his other son Bob Wilmot and brothers Oliver and Eddy. The family will receive visitors at Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday 2-4 and 6-8PM. The funeral service will be held at the Sussex Wesleyan Church on Saturday December 8, 2007 at 11:00AM. Donations to the Danny and Jessica Angel Foundation would be appreciated.
