Obituary of Hazel Olive Gregg

The death of Hazel Olive Gregg occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on April 3, 2004. Born at Mount Pisgah, NB on June 18, 1917 she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth H. (Voutour) Almon. Hazel is survived by her husband, George E. Gregg of Sussex, daughters Beatrice Obermeier (John) of Springfield, Doris Cruickshank (Arthur) of Sussex, Elva Steeves (Whitfield) of Dunsinane, NB, Sharon Boyd (Larry) of Norton and Sheila Bozic (Paul) of Oshawa, ON, sons, Norman (Sharron) Gregg of Lower Millstream and Gordon (Elsie) Gregg of Sussex Corner, twenty-four grandchildren, Neil Obermeier and his wife Roberta, Grant Obermeier and his wife Wanda, Karen Kennedy and her husband Darryll, Vincent Gregg and his wife Beverlee, Jeffrey Gregg and his wife Sandra, Russell Gregg and his wife Richelle, Timothy Gregg and his wife Connie, Phillip Gregg, Nathan Gregg and his wife Jamie, Heather Welton and her husband John, Lyle Cruickshank, Blynn Cruickshank and his wife Annette, Dana Cruickshank and his wife Carmen, Stephanie McLean and her husband Robin, Kevin Steeves and his wife Faye, Darian Steeves, Melody Thorne and her husband Kent, Fonda Baskins and her husband David, Angela Armstrong and her husband Stephen, Tanya Boyd, Julie Bozic, Jennifer Limbiotacos and her husband Christopher, Daniel Bozic and Crystal Bozic, twenty-four great grandchildren, Daniel and Craig Obermeier, Tyson and Kaitlyn Kennedy, Marissa Gregg, Casey and Emma Gregg, Skylar and Graycen Welton, Cole Cruickshank, Candace McLean, Carter and Cody Cruickshank, Hannah and Bronwyn Cruickshank, Jessie McLean, Barry Steeves and his wife Lindsay, Rebekah Steeves, Larissa Thorne, Wade Baskins, Simon Gregg, Kristen and Luke Armstrong and Jacob Limbiotacos and one great great grandson Jacob Steeves. Hazel was predeceased by sisters, Mary Mills, Catherine Gregg and Carolyn Ogden and brothers James, Sanford and Roland Almon. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 6, 2004 at the Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, Sussex at 2:00 PM with Reverend Dennis Munn officiating. Interment will be at Gosline Cemetery, Knightville. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Abundant Life Building Fund, the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated by the family.
