The death of William Everett “Bud” Eveleigh of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on November 19, 2004. Born at Lower Cove, NB a son of the late William John and Myrtle Viola (Anderson) Eveleigh and the husband of the late Evelyn A. (Richardson) Eveleigh who passed away in 1986. Bud is survived by his daughter Margaret Porter and husband Bernard of Sussex, son Daryl Eveleigh and wife Sandra of Roachville, grandchildren Andrew (Krista) and Jill Eveleigh and Belinda and Alicia Porter, great grandchildren Blake, Samuel, Devon and Morgan, his special friend Flora Keirstead, aunt Mrs. Helen Stewart of Petitcodiac, sister-in-law Mrs. Grace Eveleigh of Sussex Corner and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Nelson Eveleigh. Bud was a partner in the Roachville Garage and liked to fish and hunt. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex on Tuesday November 23, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Reverend David Barrett officiating. Interment will be at Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Sussex Health Centre Dialysis Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
