Obituary of Callie Pearl Drane

It is with sadness, that we, the Drane family, announce that Mrs. Callie Drane, our Mother and Grandmother, was freed from this life on May 11, 2017 at the Sussex Health Center.

Callie was born on September 13, 1928 and was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Barnett) Bunn.

Callie is survived by her children: Wallace Bunn Sr. of BC; Michael Drane (Susan) of Willow Grove; Laurel Teehan (Walter) of Waterford; Lynn Sullivan (Kevin) of Sussex; Callie Canrinus of Sussex; Ruth Erb (William) of Poodiac; Autumn Whitaker (Donald) of Grand Bay; David J. Drane, Sussex; Christopher Drane (Juanita) of Sussex. Her sister Ruth Blacklock (Fred) of Moncton; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sons; Stephen Drane, Andrew Drane, and Shawn Drane, and her daughter Iris Justason; also her brothers: Gordon, Roy, Sanford, Herbert and Jene Bunn; and her sister, Phyllis Akey.

Arrangements are in the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB E4E 5L6 (506) 433-2133. No visitation or funeral service will be held as per Callie’s wishes. Callie will be reunited with her parents at a family grave side service taking place at a later date.
