Ms. Barbara Cain of Sussex passed away on October 8, 2016 at the age of 67. Born in Saint John on September 17, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Angela Cain of Fredericton. Barb is survived by her husband Jim Olive; Max the cat; her brother John and Lynda Cain; her nephew Ryan and Jenny Cain and their recently born daughter Hannah; her aunt Helen and Joe Berube; and by several cousins. Barbara’s career as a bookkeeper/accountant included Red Rose Tea, Neilson Marketing, several years with deStecher Miller and Law, and 22 years with Shoppers Drug Mart. Barb enjoyed life! She loved the outdoors, skiing, sailing, barbecues, and seafood dinners with friends and relatives. She was loved and will be missed by us all!!! Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133). As per Barbara’s request, no visitation will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
