Obituary of Margaret Sprague
In her youth, Peggy enjoyed school where she received two honour certificates in one school year, but in 1929, after the untimely death of her mother at a young age, her father had to leave home for work so she quit school to look after her younger brothers. She attended the Church Ascension Anglican Church in Apohaqui and was involved with the girl's branch of the WA. Peggy was warm and understanding, she was always helping someone else and welcomed everyone into her home with tea or coffee. Peggy resided at Kings Manor for over 11 years where the other tenants became her close friends. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, baking, crossword puzzles and cryptograms.
