The death of Dorothy “Dot” Emma Anderson of Sussex occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 7, 2009 at the age of 92. Born in Jeffries Corner, a daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie (Lisson) Lynch and was the wife of the late Lawrence Anderson. Dot is survived by her chosen daughter Betty (Douglas) Adair of Millbrook, her brother George Lynch of Poodiac, a sister-in-law Grace Lynch of Saint John and several special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son William Anderson and several brothers and sisters. Dot was a very active member of Trinity Anglican Church and a member of the PC Party. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 3-6PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday December 10, 2009 at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex at 2:00PM with the Venerable David J. Barrett officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Trinity Church Organ Fund would be appreciated.
