Obituary of Thomas Frank McShane

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Frank McShane of Jeffries Corner.

Tom was the son of the late Frank and Florence (Carré ) McShane and the husband of Mildred (Gregg) McShane.

Tom worked in construction as a carpenter most of his life. He enjoyed listening to blue grass and even more so when Marcus and his friends would play for him. He loved being outdoors, four wheeling and camping. He enjoyed wood carving and had a great eye for detail. He was extremely particular about each and every detail of whatever project he worked on.

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mildred (Gregg) McShane; his daughter Kelly O’Leary (Chris) of Norton and his son Ricky McShane (Colleen) of Smiths Creek; his sisters: Sheila Smith of Sussex and Lynn McAra (Mick) of England; his brother Delbert McShane (Alice) of Two Hills, AB; his sisters-in-law: Debbie McShane and Dorothy McShane; grandchildren: Travis McShane (Miranda), Evan O’Leary, Morgan O’Leary and Marcus O’Leary; great grandchildren: Bently Roy and Peyton McShane as well as many extended family and friends.

Tom was predeceased by his brothers: Claude and David McShane and by his nieces Cindy McShane and Leslie Gregg.

Arrangements are in the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB (506) 433-2133 from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the Sussex Select Community Chapel on Thursday, May 4th, 2017 at 1:00pm. Interment will take place in the Hammondvale Cemetery.
