The death of Blanche E. Anderson of Sussex occurred peacefully, with her daughters at her side, at the Sussex Health Centre on May 4, 2011 at the age of 87. Born in Kars, NB a daughter of the late George and Julia (Brown) Morrell. Blanche was the wife of the late Walter A. Anderson who passed away in 2005. She is survived by her daughters Judy Titus (David) of Sussex, Janice Harris (Philip) of Sussex and son Fraser Anderson (Sally Jean) of Ashcroft, BC, grandchildren Krista Harris (Fergus Breen), Darcy Harris (Kerri), Kim Quinn (Mike), Misty Bennett, Chaundelle Bodden and Bradley Anderson, great grandchildren Christopher and Alex Bodden, Whitney Bennett, Phoebe and Brody Quinn, Lauryn and Logan Harris, her sister Georgie MacKenzie of Wickham, her brother Tommy Morrell (Marion) of Florida, sister-in-law Elva Morrell of Sussex and several nieces and nephews. As well as her parents and husband Walter, Blanche was predeceased by her brothers; Walter and Ronald Morrell. Family was very important to Blanche, she loved having them around her, especially the grandchildren. Blanche enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the traffic go by and attending social events with her family. She would always be the first one ready, as to not get left behind. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A Celebration of Blanche’s Life will be held on Sunday May 8, 2011 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Hillier officiating. Interment will be at Gosline Cemetery at a later date.
