Obituary of Beatrice Gibson Ferris
Ferris, Beatrice Gibson, 81, of Dutch Valley, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on April 24, 2016. Born in MacDonald’s Point, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Beatrice (nee White) Jackson. Beatrice was retired from working at the Mill Cove Nursing Home. She is survived by her son Lawrence Ferris of Dutch Valley; her daughter Susan Cromwell (Kenneth) of Plumweseep; her grandchildren: Keith Cromwell (Tracy) of Smiths Creek, and Michael Cromwell (Tasha) of Rothesay; her great-grandchildren: Nataly & Jackson; her sisters: Marion Whitaker of St. George, and Jean Gooding, Christina Jackson, and Jan Wotypka, all of St. Thomas, ON; her brothers: John Jackson (Bertha) of MacDonald’s Point, David Jackson, and Tom Jackson (Linda), all of St. Thomas, ON; brother-in-law Calvin Ferris (Linda) of Fredericton; sister-in-law Edith Ferris of Burton; as well as many extended family members and friends. Besides her parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her husband George Ferris in 2013; her brothers-in-law: Ken Whitaker, Dick Gooding, Mike Wotypka, and Winslow Ferris; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Jackson. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133). Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8; the funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Faith Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Tim MacDonald presiding.
