Dorothy was born in Yarmouth County, NS on August 30, 1933; she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Alma (Rhino) Davis. Dorothy is survived by her husband Arlie, her daughter, AnnMarie Mahoney of Alberta, her son John Mahoney and his wife Melissa of Sussex Corner, two grandchildren: Matthew and JJ; five sisters: Patricia Palmer of Millville, Morleena Davis of Malta, Italy, Connie Buchanan of Hammondvale, Janet Fenwick and her husband Calvin of Plumweseep, Marion Lamb and her husband Steve of Sussex Corner; five brothers: Donnie Davis and Eileen of Yarmouth, NS, Arnold Davis and his wife Evelyn of Lower Sackville, Doug Davis and his wife Rose of Riverview, Jim Davis and his wife Debbie of Sussex, Robert Davis of Sussex; her sister-in-law, Irene Davis of Sussex, two step daughters: Beth Zell and her husband Ray of Cochran, Alberta, Debbie Perrin and her husband Warren of Canmore, Alberta, two step sons: Dave Ganong and his wife Holly of Bellisle, Tim Ganong of Hampton; four step grandchildren: Adam, Ben, Anthony and Dennis; three step great grandchildren: Nathan, Noah, Jesse; as well as several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her step mother, Leona (Garron) Davis, her 1st husband John Warren Mahoney who passed away in 1992, her sister, Eileen Young, two brothers: Alvin Jr. "Buddy" Davis and Leonard Garron. Mrs. Dorothy Marie Ganong of Sussex Corner passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 2, 2008 at the age of 75.
