Alberta Florence Chambers (Greenlaw), of Sussex, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Born in St. Andrews, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Holt) Greenlaw and the wife of the late J. Douglas Chambers who passed away in 2015. Alberta is survived by her children: Florence Watson (Alexander) of Petersfield, England, DeEtta Jean Proctor (Aubrey) of Apohaqui, NB, and Patricia Squarebriggs (David) of Sussex, NB; her brother Charles Delmar Greenlaw of Bayside; her grandchildren: Jane Proctor, Douglas Proctor, Sandy Watson, Jamie Watson (Vicki), Margot Squarebriggs (Randy Sjoquist), and Brook Beaman (Matthew); great-grandchildren: Ella, Grace, Gloria, Violet, Olivia, Alice, and Isabelle; her sister-in-law Jean Murray of Picadilly as well as by many extended family members and friends. Alberta was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband as well as by several brothers and sisters. Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133). A private family service will be held at a later date by request.
