The death of Shirley Ora (Brighton) Gallant of Sussex occurred February 9, 2008 at the Sussex Health Centre at the age of 56. Born in New Jersey, a daughter of Myrtle Leroy and the late Vincent Brighton. Besides her mother she is survived by her husband Austin Gallant, children Diane Erb and Peter Erb (Krista Kennedy), Sussex, 6 grandchildren, sisters Pixie Brown (Glendon) and Marlene Morin (Trevor), St. Martins, brothers Fred Brighton (Pat), New Jersey, Vincent Brighton, Florida, Scott Brighton, Pennsylvania, Bruce Brighton, New Jersey and Luke Leroy, St. Martins. A time of remembrance and visiting will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2008 at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home (506-433-2133) from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Donations made to a Living Memorial would be appreciated.
