Stephen Michael Fowler of Dutch Valley passed away at the Sussex Health Center on June 2, 2015. Born in Upham, New Brunswick on September 9, 1950, he was a son of the late Cecil and Catherine (nee Bennett) Fowler. Stephen was a member of St. Mark’s Anglican Church and the Hammond River Valley Seniors. He worked for Irving Paper from where he retired after 37 years. Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Lorna (nee McLeod) Fowler; his son Aaron (Heather) Fowler and their children Dean and Lydia; his brothers: Carl (Ann) Fowler and Gerald (Betty) Fowler; his step children: Myrna, Donald and Howard and their spouses and children; he leaves behind his special granddaughter Hailey; his Aunts: Eileen Fowler, Joyce Fowler, Bertha Bennett, Annie Bennett and Edna Bennett; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides his parents Stephen is predeceased by his infant son Nathan and his brothers Andy and Les Fowler. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral home from where visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Allen Tapley presiding.
