Beverly was predeceased by sisters; Binnie McGregor and Lella Parlee and brothers; Allen, Henry and John Smith. Bev met Nina in high school and fell in love and married in 1969 and became best friends. They built their first home together in Lower Millstream where they raised their two sons later moving to Plumweseep and finally moving to Sussex in Coventry Walk where they built their retirement home. He enjoyed gardening, and had a natural talent for growing flowers and planting tomatoes and sunflowers, hunting, and fishing with Nina and playing hockey with the Old Timers Hockey Team. He enjoyed volunteering at the Sussex Elementary School and at the Kiwanis Nursing Home. He shared a very special bond with Bridget as well as the rest of his grandchildren. Bev enjoyed going for walks in the woods and listening and talking and feeding birds and always willing to help people whenever he could. Bev was a member of the Trinity Anglican Church where he volunteered whenever he could. He will be missed by all people’s lives he touched and will live on in the lives of Nina, Chris and Dwayne and Families. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held on Friday July 23, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex with Archdeacon David Barrett officiating.
