Myrtle T. Stephenson of Sussex passed away on February 2, 2015 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Ottawa, ON, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (nee Bezants) Davis and surviving spouse of the late Sam Stephenson. Myrtle was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. She was a former member of the I.O.D.E.; Brunswick Belles (Harmony Inc); N.B. Handicraft Association and a Peer Leader of the Maple Leafs Zones Geri-Fitness Group. Myrtle is survived by her son, Gary Stephenson (Jill) of Sussex; daughter, Gail Stillwell of Vancouver, BC; grandchildren: Colin and Marcus Stephenson. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Frank and Lorne Davis; and her sister Nancy McKee. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Anglican Church. Interment will be held at the Kirk Hill Cemetery. Donations made to the Trinity Anglican Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
