The death of Burton Weldon Reece of Cumberland Bay, NB occurred September 30, 2003 at the Sussex Health Centre. Burton was the husband of Joan (White) Reece of Cumberland Bay and a son of the late Weldon and Hazel (McLean) Reece. Besides Joan, he is survived by a daughter Wendy Branscombe (Earle) of Hampton, sons Harold (Juanita) Reece and Lawrence (Janet) Reece both of Cumberland Bay, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother Holly (Beatrice) Reece of Youngs Cove and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Roxalana Reece, a daughter Faye Reece and infant grandson Jason Bizeau. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 2, 2003 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Bert Kuehner officiating. Interment will be at Cumberland Point Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Palliative Care Fund at the Sussex Health Centre or to the Fundamental Baptist Church (Chipman) would be appreciated by the family.
