The death of Genevieve Anne (Genny) Tingley of Hillsdale, NB occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on December 7, 2002. Genny was born at Passekeag, NB on January 6, 1944 a daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Whelan) Doherty. She is survived by her husband Mirns Tingley and children Tony and wife Brenda of Hillsdale, Tracy Hanlin and husband Corey of Hillsdale and Tasha McAlary and husband Chris of Gander, Newfoundland. Grandchildren, Adam Hanlin, Jeremy and Alysha Tingley, Connor and Lucas McAlary; sisters Catherine Parlee (Lloyd) of Norton, Ellen Hanlon of Hampton and Elizabeth Lutes (Kenny) of Hampton; six nephews and three nieces. Genny was predeceased by an infant daughter Marina, brother in law Gary Hanlon and nephews Kevin Parlee, Brent and Christopher Hanlon. Genny enjoyed bingo, cards and dancing. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Peter Bagley at St.Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Sussex at 10:00 AM on Wednesday December 11, 2002. Interment will be at Saddleback Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
