The death of Eric Hoy Jorgensen of Sussex occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on April 16, 2004. Born in Saint John on March 26, 1930 he was a son of the late Paul and Agnes (Jensen) Jorgensen. Eric is survived by his wife Elva Jean (Arthurs) Jorgensen, son Paul Jorgensen and his wife June of Sussex, daughter Cindy Young and her husband Kurt of Woodstock, grandchildren Brock and Drake Jorgensen and Aaron and Amanda Young and his brother Bent Jorgensen of British Columbia. He was predeceased by his sister Anna McKelvie. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 20, 2004 in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Sussex. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
