Mrs. Doris “Bindi” (nee Doody) Mitton, of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on Monday, November 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Gaspe, QC on April 28, 1955, she was the daughter of Ralph and Roma (Cunning) Doody. Doris is survived by her husband Travis; her daughter Melanie Mitton (Justin Dawson) of Mississauga; her son Travis Mitton (Julia) of Plumweseep; her siblings: Diana Bernier (Serge), Sylvia Lucas (Clifford), Elsie Rehel (Augustin), Susan McKoy, Eunice Mitton (Richard), Fred Doody (Peggy), Frank Doody (Angela), Ralph Doody (Patti) and Lori Crealock (Brent); grandchildren: Kai and Kalen Mitton and Casmir and Jules Mitton; sister-in-law Verna Doody; the Mitton clan as well as a multitude of extended family members and friends. Doris was predeceased by her brother Donald, her infant siblings: Roderick and Vina and brother-in-law Donald McKoy. A celebration of Doris’s life will be held in the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 25th, 2016 at 11:00am.
