Howard Ashley Murray, 80, of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on February 18, 2012. Born in Sussex, he was the son of the late Samuel and Carrie (nee Thorne) Murray. He is survived by three children of Ontario; brother, Fred Murray of Woodstock; sister, Betty Parlee; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Howard was predeceased by his brothers: Samuel Ralph, Ariel, Leon, Donald, Harvey, and George; sisters: Lena Nickerson, Myrtle Shaw, and Annie Reynolds. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00pm with Rev. Richard Vincent presiding at the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. Interment will be held in the Kirk Hill Cemetery at a later date.
